About The Author. August 9, at PM. I performed a Windows 10 clean install and installed all latest drivers and software patches. The sound is very very low.
The in-built sub-woofer is supposed to work with XLoud feature turned ON. I saw many similar queries in this community but none of them helped. You might say that the feature isn't supported on Windows 10 yet. Well, before the clean install, I upgraded to Windows 10 keeping my data and settings and the sub-woofer worked flawlessly like it used to work earlier on Windows 8. This hints at some missing patch or utility. Please help. NOTE: if you update directly to windows 10 from windows 8 by using media creation tool again your xloud drivers are screwed.
It happened after the clean install. I know about the recovery partition but I don't want to reset my computer to its factory state. I'm happy with the present state minus the audio issue. Hi janmohammad, Thank you for considering Sony Community! This is one of the reasons why Sony advised to wait for the Windows 10 drivers and software updates first before upgrading the operating system.
